Burglary Dwelling Overnight Friday 12 to Saturday 13 September in Hazel Grove, Hucknall, a garden was entered through a side gate and the house then entered through an unlocked conservatory door and an air fryer was stolen. The thieves also took an e-scooter from a shed. At 7.00am on Sunday 14 September in Polperro Way, Hucknall, a male was seen trying a car door and garage doors. Described as eastern European, late 40’s to early 50’s, bald head, wearing a black hooded jacket with a grey motif, blue jeans, black trainers with a white trim on top. Overnight Saturday 13 to Sunday 14 September in Nabbs Lane, Hucknall, an attached garage was broken into and an unlocked car inside was entered, a log book, sentimental items and a school bag were stolen. Burglary Other At 2.45pm on Saturday 13 September in Burberry Avenue, Hucknall, two youths broke into a garage and stole a dark green pushbike with a yellow GT logo and two black adult e-scooters. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle At 6.55am on Sunday 14 September in Polperro Way, Hucknall, a male walked on to a neighbours property, looked into a car before trying the door. Described as a black male, 5-08”, early 50’s, shaved head, slim/medium build with a slight stoop. Wearing a black bomber jacket, black jeans, black trainers. At 5.45am on Sunday 14 September in Hillcrest Drive, Hucknall, a white Volvo car was broken into and a work bag, containing perfume, a wallet with drivers licence and bank cards, was stolen. Theft Between 1.00am and 7.30am on Friday 12 September, in Salterford Road, Hucknall, a wheelie bin was stolen it was found in a near by park with all the rubbish dumped out. Between Saturday 6 and 2.00pm on Friday 12 September in Shortwood Avenue, Hucknall, a general waste wheelie bin was stolen. At 10.44pmon Friday 12 September in the NET car park, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, 2/3 males, wearing black clothing with their hoods up, were seen near the cycle storage cage with an angle grinder. A Carrera Avenger mountain bike was stolen. Criminal Damage Between 8.00pm on Friday 12 and 11.30am on Saturday 13 September in Allen Street, Hucknall, the paintwork on a red Seat Leon car, parked at the roadside, was ‘keyed’ down the passenger side. Between 4.00pm on Saturday 13 and 8.00am on Sunday 14 September, in Co-Operative Avenue, Hucknall, a silver Ford Focus Zetec had the paintwork ‘keyed’ and it’s tyres slashed. At 12.43am on Monday 15 September in Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall eggs were thrown at a door. ASB At 12.41pm on Wednesday 17 September in Red Kite Close, Hucknall, a report stating that for the past few weeks a group of two to five school children running around, banging and kicking doors, breaking trees, as they return from school. This is causing fear and distress to elderly residents in the vicinity.
